This play, putting on the story of Zhang Qi-lang family located in Fenglin, Hualien, represents an aspect of Taiwan's 228 Incident. On the simplistic stage of this performance, in order to recreate the past, projections of words and family pictures of the Republican period in the thirties were inserted into the intervals of scene-shifting.
