abstractSynopsis:
This play, inspired by the classical Chinese Legend of White Serpent, cast actors to play the four main roles(white serpent, green serpent, Hsu Shian, and Monk Fa hai). It started with the scene of the meeting between Hsu Shian and Fa Hai, the Monk, the critical point when the monk was going to reveal to Hsu Sin the fact that her wife, Bai Su-zen, was actually a white snake incarnating as a woman. This revelation eventually leaded to a full-scale confrontation between the serpents and the monk.
